Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 21 yrs and 30 yrs for SI Post, between 20 and 30 yrs for ASI posts and between 18 yrs and 25 yrs for rest of the posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 31-07-2013. Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Matriculation /10+2 with science or equivalent followed by Diploma in relevant discipline from recognised University with desired experience as per the post. For post wise details refer to the notification.
Application Fee: General and OBC candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- in form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of DIG, SHQ. SSB, Purnea Payable At SBI branch, Purnea (Bihar) Code No-0159.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Technical Test (Trade Test), Final Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination.

Age Limit : Candidates age must be between 18-25 years for Sr. No. 1 post & 18-23 years for Sr. No. 2 & 3 posts as on 20-06-2013. There will be relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC (i. e. 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC).
Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess Matric with Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication from an Institution recognized by the State Government or equivalent for Sr. No. 1 post, Matriculation or equivalent plus two years I.T.I. Certificate in Electronics for Sr. No. 2 post & Matriculation or equivalent with Science from a recognized Board/Institute or equivalent for Sr. No. 3 post.
Application Fee : Candidates belonging to General and OBC Category will be required to pay ` 50/- (non refundable) as application fee in the form of Bank Draft in favour of “Accounts Officer, SSB, FTR HQ, Lucknow,” payable at SBI Branch, Lucknow (UP)”. No fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-servicemen candidates.
